Salary: £13.78 (Including holiday pay)

Hours: Supply work – Work offered around your availability each week in advance and on the day of work

Role of the Level 3 Nursery Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our team on supply. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in early years and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our nursery settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Duties of the Nursery Nurse

• Provide attentive and responsive care for children aged 0-5 years
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring that all children are included and supported
• Communicate effectively with children and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure the best outcomes for each child
• Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their development through observations in accordance with early years frameworks
• Manage daily routines within the nursery, including meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities

Requirements for the Nursery Nurse

• Level 2/3 Early Years / Childcare Diploma
• Previous experience or placement experience in a childcare or education setting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
