Location: Smethwick
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000
Hours: 36-40 hours per week Term-time only

Role of the Experienced Nursery Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and manage our childcare team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the nursery’s daily operations and ensure a high standard of care and education. You will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs, managing a team of educators, and maintaining strong relationships with parents. This is a term-time only position, giving you the flexibility of time off during school holidays.

Responsibilities of the Experienced Nursery Manager

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of educators, fostering professional growth and teamwork
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote children’s growth and development
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
  • Manage the nursery’s administrative tasks and operational needs

Requirements for the Experienced Nursery Manager Role

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in early childhood education or a related field
  • Proven experience in nursery management and leadership

Skills

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and Ofsted standards
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in nursery management
  • Proven experience managing teams and overseeing operations in a nursery setting
