Due to increase in capacity at our wonderful nursery, we are excited to be recruiting for Nursery Practitioners to join our superstar team at Fairytales Nursery, Great Barr!

About the Nursery Practitoner role:

  • Salary: We pay higher than most! Up to £12.30 per hour!
  • Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday, hours between 7.15am – 6.15pm OR part time, three days a week minimum with no restricted availability to work – 30-35 hours per week
  • Location: Fairytales Nursery, Great Barr
  • Contract Type: Permanent, all year round

Roles and Responsibilities for the Nursery Practitioner:

  • Working with the amazing childcare team to provide stimulating and fun activities for children, support daily routines and preparing them in readiness for school
  • Key worker responsibilities includes planning, observations, report writing and working with the EYFS framework
  • We pride ourselves on giving our parents and families the best experience- you will be trained how to deliver elite level customer service for our nursery

Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner role:

  • Must hold a minimum full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
  • Have exceptional understanding of safeguarding
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Good computer skills and literacy skills are essential to this role
