Location: Solihull Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time Salary: £60,000- £80,000

Role of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

This role is to manage a variety of commercial matters and provide clients with efficient and effective legal advice and assistance who pride themselves on longstanding client relationships and our reputation for honest, tailored advice. Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of commercial property matters, including:

· Acting for both landlords and tenants in all lease-related transactions

· Handling the sale and acquisition of commercial property

· Drafting and negotiating a broad range of property-related documents

· Advising on the property elements of asset/share sales and acquisitions in collaboration with our company team

· Providing guidance on matters related to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954

· Managing re-mortgages of commercial property

· Acting for small-scale developers on land acquisitions and new-build property sales

Requirements for the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

Essential Skills

· Proven expertise in commercial property law with confidence managing high-value and complex cases independently

· A pro-active approach with the ability to work autonomously, while also seeking advice and support when needed

· Excellent communication and client care skills, with a strong emphasis on regular and clear updates throughout transactions

Desirable Skills

· Experience in both residential and commercial property is an advantage, particularly for those interested in a varied caseload

Qualifications

· Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales

· Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in property law

Experience

· Experience managing a wide range of complex and high-value commercial property transactions

· Ability to act independently on matters including leases, acquisitions, sales, and developments

· Track record of building strong relationships with clients, delivering clear, reliable legal advice
