Site Manager – Temporary Cover

Location: Stourbridge
Hours: 5 hours day

Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Site Manager to join a welcoming primary school in the Stourbridge area, on a temp basis.

You’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep of the school, ensuring the buildings and grounds are secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the general maintenance and security of the school site
  • Carry out or arrange minor repairs, decorating, and upkeep
  • Supervise and support cleaning staff
  • Manage stock of hygiene and cleaning supplies
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including pathways, playgrounds, and car parks

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a site management, caretaking, or maintenance role
  • Basic understanding of health & safety, manual handling, and building upkeep
  • Reliable, practical, and able to work independently
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
  • Previous school experience
