About the Nursery Deputy Manager role:
- Location: Early Steps Dudley, Gornalwood
- Salary: £14 per hour, we pay above average!
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week to work varied shifts between 7:15-6:00pm (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities for the Nursery Deputy Manager role include:
- Supporting Nursery manager with senior responsibilities including administration, reporting, and parent partnership
- Using childcare systems and Microsoft Office
- Room-based duties include supporting and managing a team of childcare staff and apprentices, key children responsibilities with planning and assessment
- New customer show-arounds and customer-facing responsibilities
Requirements for the Nursery Deputy Manager:
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- IT skills – confident use of Microsoft Office and childcare CRMs (desirable)
- Experience with motivating and mentoring staff either in a room leader or senior capacity
- Customer service skills
