Site Manager – Temp to Perm

Location: Coseley WV14
Salary: £25,586 – £27,269 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (split shifts – typically early morning and afternoon)
Contract: Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Site Manager to join a welcoming primary school in the Coseley area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a site running smoothly and safely.

You’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep of the school, ensuring the buildings and grounds are secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general maintenance and security of the school site
• Carry out or arrange minor repairs, decorating, and upkeep
• Supervise and support cleaning staff
• Manage stock of hygiene and cleaning supplies
• Handle opening/closing of the site and respond to emergencies when required
• Maintain outdoor areas, including pathways, playgrounds, and car parks
• Support community lettings and events where needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a site management, caretaking, or maintenance role
• Basic understanding of health & safety, manual handling, and building upkeep
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently
• Willing to work split shifts and be flexible to school needs
• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
• Previous school experience
