Nursery Room Leader

We are excited to be recruiting for a wonderful day nursery based in Coseley, who are recruiting for an experienced Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their team.

This nursery has strong family values with a real home from home feel and they are passionate about supporting children, families and their staff. They are a small close-knit nursery, with many long standing staff and are looking to expand their team.

About the Senior Nursery Practitioner role:

• Salary: Starting at £13 per hour – negotiable based on experience
• Hours: Permanent, Full time. Monday – Friday, variable shifts between 7.15am – 6.00pm.
• Location: Coseley

Role of the Senior Nursery Practitioner role:

• Key worker responsibilities includes planning, observations, report writing and working with the EYFS framework
• Oversee teams learning journals and observations for proofing
• The Senior Nursery Practitioner will work closely with their team of practitioners to motivate, lead and inspire them
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow – implement policies and procedures and ensure a smooth running of the room

Requirements for the Nursery Room Leader role:

• Must hold a minimum full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Previous Pre School room experience desirable
• Have exceptional understanding of safeguarding
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
